Who we are
Aleteo (“we”, “us”) provides done-for-you founder content services and operates this website. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@aleteo.io.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you book a discovery call we collect your first and last name, email address, business name, the marketing-spend range you select, and the time you choose for the call.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, buttons clicked, how much of our video you watch, your device and browser type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. This relies on cookies. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots, which processes technical signals from your browser without showing you puzzles in most cases.
How we use it
- To schedule and run the call you booked, and to follow up about it
- To understand and improve how the site performs
- To prevent spam and abuse of the booking system
- To measure marketing — and, in future, to show relevant ads to people who visited the site
We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it for us
We share data only with the service providers that make the site work:
- Cal.com — scheduling: receives your booking details to create the calendar event
- Google — analytics (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager)
- Cloudflare — bot protection (Turnstile) and video delivery
- Railway — website hosting
These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics to recognise returning visitors and measure sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fine without them.
Retention
Booking details are kept for as long as we have an active conversation or engagement with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to how we use it, by emailing hello@aleteo.io. We answer within a reasonable time. If you are in Canada, you may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner; if you are in the EU/UK, you have equivalent rights under GDPR including complaint to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here with a new date. Material changes to how we use booking data will be flagged on the booking form itself.
